Director of Finance

Job Status: Salaried/Exempt


The Director of Finance leads accountability for accurate job cost in the company, leads all reporting efforts for management, and evaluates M&A opportunities for the company.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in monthly/quarterly job review meetings to ensure jobs are being managed appropriately following the company project management process
  • Works with VP’s who have PM oversight responsibilities to ensure processes and policies are being adhered to including but not limited to timeliness of, AP approval, AR billing, change order processing, payroll approval, and job cost projections
  • Leads annual budget development for the company and updates quarterly throughout the year
  • Develops management level reports to be used to monitor KPI’s, risk factors, or evaluate new processes for gain in efficiency/production
  • Assists in the review and oversight of the corporate insurance program
  • Develops and leads a job audit process for periodic review of large jobs in the company to ensure clean documentation and risk management
  • Assists in the implementation and training of new software suites used in operations of the company
  • Assists in financial analysis for new real estate development projects
  • Prepares regular real estate development reports to provide progress updates to ownership
  • Participates in due diligence and evaluation of all merger & acquisition activity in the company
  • Assists in the transition and onboarding of any acquisitions to be integrated into company policies
  • Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Construction or real estate development work experience preferred
  • Minimum five years of accounting or finance experience required
  • Highly experienced using a PC (Microsoft Suite, Adobe, Vista by Viewpoint a plus)
  • Must be detail oriented and a self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to bring a team together and work in a team environment
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines

This position is full-time (40-hours per week) and will be scheduled Monday – Friday. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Project Manager

Job Status: Full-Time/Salaried/Exempt


The Project Manager leads, directs, and coordinates the day-to-day management of the project.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews estimates developed by the estimating group
  • Assists with development of schedules, phasing, and logistics
  • Assists with constructability review, when required
  • Develops bid packages and scopes of work
  • Manages the bid, award and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating the day-to-day management of the project including:
    • Sets up initial project budget structure
    • Updates project budgets on not less than a monthly basis
    • Completes and oversees change requests made by owners and subcontractors and ensures change orders are entered/submitted appropriately
    • Audits project costs and expenditures
    • Oversees the invoicing of owners, subcontractors, etc.
    • Responsible for project profit management
  • Produces MPSR’s monthly and presents to leadership
  • Produces monthly executive reports and distributes to owner and leadership
  • Produces oversight of the RFI and Submittal process
  • Produces and distributes monthly schedule updates
  • Ensures quality control program is implemented
  • Works with the Superintendent to ensure the work in the field is staying on schedule; that jobsite safety is being maintained, and daily reports are written
  • Participates in OAC meetings – Project Management should be running these meetings
  • Sets up and chairs regular Project Manager meetings and documents through meeting minutes
  • Coordinates work activities with staff
  • Properly maintains, updates, and files project documents
  • Manages all construction documents
  • Oversees the closeout and job completion documentation
  • Demonstrates full knowledge of the owner contract and responsibilities of the agreement
  • Demonstrates full knowledge of the subcontracts and purchase orders executed for the project
  • Acts as the primary liaison between the Owner, Design Team, and other stakeholders
  • Trains, mentors, and educates the Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers working under them on the project
  • Continually analyzes and mitigates the project risk
  • Participates in RFQ/RFP responses as needed
  • Participates in project interviews as required
  • Assists with finding and developing future job opportunities
  • Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Note: Assistant Project Manager roles and responsibilities would be similar to the Project Manager, but they may only handle a portion of the PM responsibilities on larger projects.

Desired Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred or the equivalent work experience
  • Strong computer experience including Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • VISTA accounting and project management software experience preferred
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Assistant Project Manager – Capable of handling a project up to $2,500,000. Generally, an APM would handle a bigger piece of larger project and assume some of the workload of the lead Project Manager.

Project Manger Level 1 – Capable of handling a project/projects up to $10,000,000 with minimal oversight

Project Manager Level 2 – Capable of handling a project/projects up to $25,000,000 with minimal oversight

Project Manager Level 3 – Capable of handling a project/projects up to $50,000,000 with minimal oversight.

Job Title: Ironworker/Welder

Job Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt

Versed in Conventional Structural Steel


The Ironworker erects structural and miscellaneous steel. Performs welding and limited millwright functions.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Unloads, shakes out, and organizes steel materials
  • Erects steel columns, beams and bar joist
  • Installs materials efficiently while meeting acceptable job specific tolerances
  • Welds and/or bolts connections per details
  • Installs roof and floor edge angle and bent plate
  • Installs miscellaneous structural steel including kicker brace, support channel, hangers, posts, etc.
  • Lays out and installs roof/floor frames
  • Welds moment connections
  • Bolts aligned structural-steel members in position for permanent bolting or welding into place
  • Installs bridging in bar joist
  • Installs metal roof/floor deck
  • Sets and grouts precast concrete hollow core plank
  • Erects steel stairs stringer, metal pans, guardrail, and handrail
  • Erects amusement ride catwalks and handrails
  • Installs ladders, railings, grating, and other miscellaneous steel
  • Installs cable rail fall protection
  • Provides proper signaling to equipment operators
  • Cuts and welds steel using torches and welding equipment
  • Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Rigging experience required
  • Mechanical ability to perform millwright type functions required
  • Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the role
  • 10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work at heights without fear
  • Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid, and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust
  • Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may require overnight stays away from home
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to read specifications and blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
